Since 1976 Rickie Birran has
used the dramatic arts to encourage, enlighten, and entertain as a
missionary and youth worker, professional storyteller, teacher, audio
book narrator, and voice over artist. He studied acting at the
University of Oregon. He has also taught oral interpretation at the
college level. In 1996 his experience, training, and love for literature
evolved into the creation of Sir ReadAlot. He is a performing artist
for the Lane Arts Council's Youth Arts Program for the 2004/2005 school
year.
